About the role

The Data Engineering department at Tesco Technology drives data processing across our retail and technology operations. The team analyzes order and delivery data to optimize logistics, manages critical information on customers, suppliers, and products, and safeguards data integrity and security throughout fulfillment.

We're seeking a skilled Data Engineer to expand and refine our data pipeline architecture and optimize data flow for cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced pipeline builder who enjoys both improving existing systems and building new ones from scratch.

You'll collaborate closely with software developers, database architects, data analysts, and data scientists, ensuring a consistent and optimal data delivery architecture across all projects. The role demands strong self-direction and the ability to support the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products.
