About the team

The Code Foundation team is dedicated to providing foundational tools, libraries, and standards that enhance developer productivity and ensure consistency across application development. By fostering a culture of experimentation and enabling robust observability, the team empowers developers to deliver high-quality products efficiently and effectively.

Role Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer , you will work closely with all members of your squad, and the Staff engineer of your group. You will be working in an agile "build it and run it" environment where engineering teams build, launch, monitor and support the product that they own.

As a SENIOR I Engineer , you will: * Facilitate meaningful discussions around complex issues. * Suggest or make improvements for existing designs and architecture for quarter-bounded projects or mission-critical areas in your squad. * Explore technologies with sizable potential impact for the team. * Contribute actively to high impact chaos mitigation. * Identify and advocate for prioritization of tasks that can optimize delivery.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong technical abilities in Javascript and Typescript (Bonus if worked with Python and Go as well or any backend language).
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines like CircleCI or equivalent.
• Ability to deliver high quality code including tests, documentation and in-depth PR descriptions.
• Ability to receive and provide in-depth constructive code reviews.
• Interest in our tech stack: GCS, Kubernetes, Docker, REST APIs, Python, VueJs, Nuxt, Algolia, Datadog.
• English proficiency is required as you will join an international team.
• End-to-end product thinking.
• Curiosity about multi stack.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity across technical domains.
