About the project

The Lead SME – Cryptography role is part of a global Service Delivery - Cryptography team, responsible for delivering and supporting cryptographic solutions and consultations on a worldwide scale. The position involves managing processes related to TLS/SSL certificates, SSH keys, and supporting cryptographic projects across the organization.

Hybrid: 6x/month from the office in Kraków

Your responsibilities

• Identify process gaps and escalate issues as needed.
• Assess risks of changes and propose mitigation strategies.
• Lead the change implementation process in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
• Prepare reports from multiple data sources to monitor and resolve issues.
• Handle ServiceNow requests within agreed SLAs.
• Provide global cryptography consulting services to internal customers.
• Troubleshoot TLS certificates generation and connection issues between Venafi TPP and target servers.
• Support non-standard queries and provide timely responses to urgent production issues.

Our requirements

• Hands-on experience with Venafi platform or TLS/SSH key management.
• Customer and stakeholder focus with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
• Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure technologies.
• Knowledge of cryptography, network protocols, and data security.
• Strong Python scripting and SQL/MySQL skills.
• Ability to create thorough technical documentation.

Optional

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS.
• Experience with API integration and cURL commands.
• Familiarity with Splunk.
