Your responsibilities

• VAT Compliance: Managing VAT registrations for MAN entities across Europe. Ensuring that all VAT-related activities comply with applicable regulations and standards (e-reporting and e-invoicing).
• Reporting: Timely and accurate preparation and submission of periodic VAT returns and other tax-related filings, such as Intrastat and EC Sales Lists.
• Data Management: Managing and maintaining accurate VAT data, including documentation of VAT registrations and compliance records. Specifically, ensuring the availability of supporting documentation to substantiate.
• Audits and Compliance: Supporting internal audits and ensuring adherence to tax regulations and internal corporate policies.
• Project Management: Participating in cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing VAT processes and increasing efficiency.
• Training and Professional Development: Participating in training and professional development programs to deepen expertise and skills in the field of VAT compliance.
• Prepare and submit periodic tax returns and reports (CIT, WHT, and other applicable taxes).
• Reconcile tax accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end tax reporting processes.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and external advisors on tax matters.

Our requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Taxation, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in tax reporting, tax compliance, accounting, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Professional proficiency in English and German.
• Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

Optional

• Professional certifications in accounting or taxation (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CTA, or local equivalent).
• Experience in multinational or shared service environments.
• Knowledge of tax reporting automation tools and data analytics.
