For Linklaters Office in Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for the BD Hub Manager role. You will lead and manage the Business Development Hub team, ensuring the team provide quality BD support across a range of projects in line with the firm and client and sector strategies. You will facilitate collaboration between stakeholders, monitor project progress, and implement process improvements to enhance overall effectiveness.
Your key responsibilities
Team leadership and collaboration Manage, mentor and develop a team of BD professionals, setting clear performance goals and facilitating professional growth through coaching and feedback. Lead a high-performing team, developing and implementing goals and providing guidance to enhance team performance. Delegate responsibilities effectively, ensuring team members are supported and able to deliver within tight timeframes. Foster a culture of collaboration and regular knowledge-sharing across teams. Track team performance against targets, providing regular feedback and performance reviews. Ensure that all HR and management activities are delivered in line with our policies and guidelines. Process management Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to help develop and deliver the Legal Directories and Awards policy. Play a key role in the coordination of the submissions processes, encouraging best practice and consistency globally. Oversee the creation and delivery of high-impact client-facing materials, ensuring consistent brand alignment and client-centricity; supervise the team's work during the delivery of key processes. Drive the team's adoption of core BD tools and platforms (including Salesforce) and champion process optimisation, working with your team to embed efficient and effective workflows. Oversee the team's role in content maintenance, strategically enhancing firm content across platforms including Linklaters.com and internal sites, ensuring material such as lawyer bios and credentials are accurate and compelling. Support the team in delivering in ad hoc BDM projects as required. Work with BDM colleagues to provide hands on support as required. Analysis and continuous improvement Continuously seek and act on feedback to improve the impact, consistency, and quality of the team's contributions. Work with global BDM stakeholders to identify support needs and flag to the Head of BDM LGS to discuss changes. Provide detailed performance data and recommendations to senior stakeholders to ensure the team are delivering as required. Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and efficiencies within BDM LGS; work with peers to spearhead and deliver change.
Your experience
Substantial experience (5+ years) in BDM within a professional services environment (preferably a law firm), including proven team management or supervisory experience. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams. Significant experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with exceptional organisational and time management skills. Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior internal and external audiences. Agile problem‑solving, proactive resource‑management, and adaptability in meeting evolving client and business needs. Expert attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and excellence. Strategic mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Skilled user of MarTech tools such as Salesforce; adept at driving adoption of new technologies and processes. Collaborative approach and demonstrable experience fostering cross‑functional relationships to achieve outcomes. Experience developing templates and frameworks to ensure project consistency. Experience in streamlining workflows and improving operational efficiency.
