Your responsibilities
- Provide operational support for applications within the Connected Supply Chain portfolio.
- Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and changes to ensure application stability and performance.
- Troubleshoot application, database, server, interface, and performance issues across the application landscape.
- Coordinate resolution activities with Product, Cloud & Hosting, Security, vendors, and other support teams.
- Maintain and support application environments across production, test, cloud, and on-premise setups.
- Manage application infrastructure, including servers, SQL databases, .NET services, operating systems, and application migrations.
- Ensure application reliability through monitoring, maintenance, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery readiness activities.
- Administer user access, service accounts, Active Directory groups, application registrations, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Entra ID/Azure AD configurations.
- Coordinate SSL certificate renewals, authentication changes, and security-related activities.
- Support application deployments, upgrades, patches, hotfixes, and production releases through established change management processes.
- Validate technical changes and perform production readiness checks before deployment.
- Drive continuous improvement by enhancing monitoring, automation, standardization, and operational processes.
- Maintain technical documentation, service procedures, and support knowledge.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure effective support and service continuity.
- Assess and support application modernization, upgrade, and migration initiatives.
Our requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in application support, application administration, or IT operations within enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes, preferably using ServiceNow or a similar ITSM platform.
- Hands-on experience supporting business-critical applications, databases, and server environments.
- Good understanding of SQL Server, Windows Server administration, and .NET-based applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), and identity and access management processes.
- Familiarity with SSL certificates, authentication mechanisms, and security best practices.
- Knowledge of cloud and on-premises application environments and infrastructure.
- Experience supporting application deployments, upgrades, patching, and migration activities.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and drive issue resolution.
- Experience working with external vendors and cross-functional technical teams in an international environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Optional
- ITIL Foundation or other IT Service Management certifications.
- Experience with enterprise Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Logistics applications.
- Experience supporting SaaS platforms and cloud migration initiatives.
- Knowledge of application portfolio management, licensing, and vendor management practices.
