What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Extensive audit or assurance experience within Financial Services, ideally within a banking environment, with experience leading complex audits from planning through to delivery and reporting.
- Exposure to Sustainability and/or Climate Risk, with an interest in developing further expertise across the broader Sustainability, Climate Risk and ESG agenda.
- Strong understanding of governance, control frameworks, regulatory environments, risk management (including exposure to financial and credit risk) and with the ability to provide effective and constructive challenge.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to build credible relationships and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to quickly assimilate complex information, identify key risks and issues, and avoid getting lost in unnecessary detail while working effectively under pressure and managing competing priorities.

Global Internal Audit provides independent, objective assurance to management and the risk and audit committees as to whether the framework of risk management, control, and governance processes, as designed and represented by management, is adequate and functioning.
We are seeking an experienced individual to join Global Internal Audit as Senior Audit Manager , Sustainability and Climate Risk Audit to deliver audits, complete risk assessments, and provide internal stakeholders with critical assessments of the HSBC’s Sustainability and Climate Risk framework, governance, and risks. You’ll work across broad and varied portfolios, gaining exposure to complex and high-profile risk areas and engaging with senior stakeholders across the bank. You will bring strong audit expertise, curiosity and the ability to quickly assimilate complex information, see the bigger picture and identify the key risks and issues without getting lost in the detail.
What we offer
The pay range for this role is 22,316 PLN – 31,500 PLN (monthly, gross).
Additional car allowance in the amount of 4,786 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
