Senior Payment Solutions Product Owner - Retail Banking

About the project, As a Product Owner, you will be working for our client in the banking and retail payments domain, focusing on developing modern payment platforms that support individual customers. You will play a critical role in shaping digital payment solutions that prioritize reliability, compliance, and scalability—at the forefront of fintech innovation., , Drive the next wave of retail payments innovation—turn complex banking needs into seamless, customer-first digital experiences., , Poznan-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week)., , Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in Europe will be considered for this role.

Your responsibilities, Own and prioritize the technology backlog for retail payments solutions, ensuring maximum business value and transparent delivery., Coordinate platform enhancements and changes across stakeholders and development teams., Translate retail payments needs into actionable requirements and maintain alignment between business objectives and technical solutions., Drive end-to-end understanding of payment processes and transaction lifecycles within your product scope., Support API and system-to-system integrations, working closely with external partners and service providers., Ensure solutions comply with regulatory requirements for electronic payments within the banking environment, including standards like SEPA and instant payments., Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and innovative payment functionalities.

Minimum 5 years of experience in payments, retail banking, or fintech., Solid end-to-end knowledge of retail payment processes and transaction lifecycle., Strong understanding of the payment service provider market and external partner cooperation models., Knowledge of regulatory requirements for electronic payments within the European context., Experience with SEPA standards and instant payment mechanisms., Proven experience managing projects or programs within the payments space., Skills in API and system integrations., Strong team management and coordination abilities., Familiarity with project management methodologies and analytical tools., Good command of English (Communicative); Polish language skills are required.

Optional, Certifications related to payments or project management., Additional experience with compliance or security standards in fintech.
