Senior Sales Engineer - Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

Responsibilities

• Lead technical pre‑sales for BESS projects across Europe (with global project exposure)
• Develop tailored solutions, proposals, and technical offers
• Translate complex energy storage systems into clear business value for customers
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to deliver fit‑for‑purpose solutions
• Build strong, long‑term customer relationships as a trusted advisor
• Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to support strategy
• Represent Lyten in technical presentations, meetings, and industry events

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or project support within energy/BESS/renewables
• Understanding of battery systems, energy storage applications, and grid/industrial use cases—including how ESS creates revenue streams
• Ability to translate technical complexity into business language
• Experience with technical proposals, tenders, and system specifications
• Confident communication in English
• Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Energy, or a related field
• Proactive, self‑driven, and comfortable in a fast‑paced, international environment
