About the project

As a Senior OpenText Specialist, you will act as a technical expert within our AMS environment, supporting enterprise customers in maintaining and optimizing OpenText platforms and integrations.

The role combines administration, troubleshooting, optimization, and advisory activities within international customer environments.

For this particular customer setup, the support team operates within extended service hours between 04:00 and 17:00 CET. Therefore, readiness to work in an 8-hour shift system within these hours is required.

Your responsibilities

✅Administration and support of OpenText Content Server / ECM environments

✅Incident resolution, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

✅Support and optimization of workflows and document lifecycle processes

✅Management of OpenText integrations with SAP and enterprise systems

✅User and authorization management via OTDS

✅Support of upgrades, patches, migrations, and system improvements

✅Development and maintenance of Web Reports and technical documentation

✅Cooperation with AMS teams and customer stakeholders

✅Participation in knowledge transfer and transition activities

✅Continuous service improvement within enterprise AMS operations

Our requirements

Technical Skills

✅Strong hands-on experience with OpenText ECM / Content Server

✅Experience with:

▪️Web Reports

▪️Workflow configuration

▪️OTDS

▪️Archive Center

▪️REST API integrations

▪️Full Text Engine

▪️Object Importer

✅Understanding of SAP integrations

✅Basic knowledge of SQL, Windows, and Linux environments

✅Understanding of AMS / ITIL-based support processes

Qualifications

✅3+ years of experience with OpenText technologies

✅Experience in enterprise or industrial environments

✅English communication skills at min. B2 level

✅German languege skills are considered an advantage

✅OpenText certifications are a plus
