Senior DORA & Operational Resilience Consultant
Responsibilities
- Interpret regulatory requirements and compliance assessments related to Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), operational resilience, business continuity, and crisis management
- Translate regulatory text and supervisory guidance into actionable requirements, controls, and implementation plans. Provide expert judgement on regulatory intent, proportionality, and good practice within financial services
- Assist in the preparation of documentation and evidence for audits, internal reviews, and supervisory inspections
- Contribute to clear, structured reporting for senior management and governance forums
- Act as subject matter expert on DORA in interactions with internal stakeholders across risk, compliance, IT, and business functions
Requirements
- Proven experience in regulatory advisory or compliance validation within banking or financial services
- Strong, practical knowledge of DORA and broader operational resilience regulations
- Experience from business continuity and crisis management in the financial sector
- Experience supporting audits, supervisory reviews, or regulatory programmes
- Ability to assess and challenge existing frameworks against regulatory expectations
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to document clear, defensible conclusions
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
