About the project

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Senior analyst, AI Security Engineering. As a Senior Analyst AI Security Engineer, you will be a key implementer of our GCP AI security strategy. You will be responsible for building and automating the security controls that protect our AI platforms and infrastructure. This hands-on role involves working with cutting-edge tools to engineer the "plumbing" of our AI security ecosystem and mentoring junior team members.

Your responsibilities

• Lead the hands-on development for AI Cloud Security Integration, developing automations for connecting of security tools into the GCP AI environment.
• Implement and enforce AI Security Baselines for core GCP AI services, including the full Vertex AI suite.
• Manage the operational lifecycle of key security tools as part of AI Security Tool Operations, including Wiz and Zscaler amongst others.
• Develop clear and comprehensive runbooks and procedures for SOC Enablement, empowering the SOC to handle GCP AI-specific alerts efficiently.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as a point of escalation for complex technical challenges.

Our requirements

• Strong, hands-on experience as a security engineer or DevOps/DevSecOps engineer in a cloud environment (GCP preferred).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.
• Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with securing AI/ML workloads and services (e.g., Vertex AI, Document AI).
• Knowledge of security posture management and vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Wiz, Zscaler).
• Desirable: Experience with policy-as-code (OPA); certifications like Google Associate/Professional Cloud Engineer.
