Senior QA Automation and Quality Assurance Lead

As a Senior QA Automation and Quality Assurance Lead, you will be working for our client, a pioneering company dedicated to transforming software development. You will lead the end-to-end QA function across multiple cross-functional teams, driving a culture of quality and innovation to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable solutions that make a real impact. Your main responsibilities: Define and implement the QA strategy across development teams, embedding quality early in the development lifecycleLead and mentor the QA and Automation Engineers, fostering a high-performance quality-driven cultureEstablish and maintain shared standards, testing frameworks, and infrastructure to support automated and manual testing practicesDesign, build, and maintain automated test suites, ensuring high test coverage for core user flows and beyondCollaborate with Architects and Product Managers to make informed decisions on testing tools, frameworks, and environmentsMonitor quality KPIs, defect trends, and testing metrics, providing actionable insights to stakeholdersSupport the recruitment, onboarding, and growth of testing talent within the organizationActively contribute to the codebase and CI/CD pipelines, leading by example in complex testing scenarios You're ideal for this role if you have: 5+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related fieldsStrong knowledge of manual and automated testing practices, test automation, and CI/CD pipelinesProven experience in establishing and leading QA strategies across multiple teamsExcellent communication skills in English, both written and verbalExperience with test frameworks, tooling, and infrastructure decision-makingData-driven mindset with expertise in KPI and testing metrics analysis It is a strong plus if you have: Professional certifications in testing or quality assuranceFluency in Dutch (not mandatory but beneficial) Language required for the role: Fluent English Eligibility for the role: Only candidates with an existing legal right to work within the European Union will be considered for this role. #MAKEYourCareerBETTER Interested?
