Your responsibilities
As a Senior Tender & Contract Specialist / Coordinator for the Italian market, you will act as a key subject matter expert responsible for managing and coordinating tender and contract activities throughout the entire life-cycle. From identifying opportunities and assessing tender requirements to coordinating submissions and supporting contract finalisation, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and business success. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will provide expertise on complex matters, drive process improvements, and help ensure high-quality and timely execution of tender and contract activities across the market.
Your tasks include:
* Monitor and assess tender opportunities and public procurement portals relevant to the Italian market, identifying business opportunities and potential risks.
* Analyse tender and contractual documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and public procurement regulations.
* Coordinate the preparation, review, and submission of tender responses, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on-time delivery.
* Act as a key point of contact and subject matter expert for complex tender and contract-related topics, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
* Coordinate tender and contract activities across the team, supporting prioritisation, knowledge sharing, and consistent execution of processes.
* Manage tender and contract documentation throughout the life-cycle, including agreements, amendments, supporting documents, and system records.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process optimisation opportunities, promoting best practices, and supporting operational excellence.
* This role does not include people management.
Our requirements
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
* Fluent Italian and very good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing and submitting tenders within the Italian market.
* Strong knowledge of Italian public procurement regulations, tender processes, and contractual requirements.
* Experience in biotechnology, life sciences, diagnostics, healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and navigate complex business environments.
* Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, combined with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
