Your responsibilities

• Closing legislative and process gaps in payroll operations
• Improving data quality and maintaining payroll processes
• Collaborating with Backbase and GLC to ensure smooth payroll administration
• Managing the end-to-end pension scheme and PPK administration
• Liaising with the Tax Office and ZUS regarding payroll matters
• Executing existing payroll processes and working towards automation

Our requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll management and HR operations
• Strong working knowledge of Polish labor legislation and compliance requirements
• Hands-on experience with Polish payroll administration and GLC inputs
• Deep familiarity with the payroll process, including inputs, cycle, reconciliation, and filings
• Operational experience in managing pension schemes and PPK administration
• Ability to bring structure to complex situations and improve processes
• Fluent Polish
• Advanced level of English

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our Back Office & BPO team in Krakow. In this role, you will focus on executing existing payroll processes while identifying legislative and process gaps. You will work closely with Backbase and their payroll provider, GLC, ensuring compliance with Polish labor legislation and improving data quality. This position requires you to be on-site in Krakow 2-3 times a week to manage paperwork and HR relations, with a hybrid work model available.
