Senior Reliability, Maintainability and Safety Engineer f/m

Your responsibilities
- Leading and coordinating RAMS activities throughout all stages of the product or system life cycle.
- Defining, analysing and managing requirements related to reliability, availability, maintainability and safety.
- Planning and performing reliability, safety and risk analyses, including FMEA/FMECA, FTA, RCA and operational data analyses.
- Identifying potential failures, hazards and failure scenarios, and assessing their impact on system performance and safety.
- Developing recommendations and improvement actions aimed at increasing the reliability, availability, maintainability and safety of systems.
- Leading the verification and validation of RAMS requirements and assessing the compliance of technical solutions with project requirements.
- Analysing failure and operational data, conducting root cause analyses, and defining corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary project, design, systems, test, quality and service teams.
- Preparing technical documentation, reports and risk assessments, and presenting analysis results and recommendations to project stakeholders.
- Participating in project and design reviews and contributing to the development of standards, processes and best practices in the areas of reliability, maintainability and safety.
Our requirements
- University degree in a technical field, preferably in Aerospace Engineering, Automation and Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in reliability, maintainability, safety, quality, or systems engineering.
- Experience in conducting RAMS analyses or related reliability and safety analyses.
- Experience in the design, development, implementation, or maintenance of complex technical systems.
- Experience working in a project environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in the railway, aerospace, automotive, energy, defence, or industrial sectors is highly desirable, as well as experience working in multidisciplinary environments
- Very good command of English, particularly in technical communication.
- Strong analytical thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex engineering problems and clearly communicate analysis results.
- Very good knowledge of: system reliability and availability, maintainability and technical maintenance,
- system safety and risk management, failure analysis and hazard identification.
- Practical knowledge of methods and tools such as: FMEA/FMECA, FTA – Fault Tree Analysis, risk analysis, reliability analysis and statistical analysis of operational data, Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Ability to define RAMS requirements and perform their verification and validation.
- Knowledge of the system life cycle and systems engineering principles.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and system requirements.
- Knowledge/experience of Model Base Safety Analysis would be a benefit.
