Accounts Payable Intern

For our client – a Nordic energy company focused on producing and supplying electricity and heat, with a strong emphasis on low‑emission and renewable energy sources, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Intern.

Location:Gdańsk (hybrid work - 2/3 days per week from the office)

Working hours: 7:00-15:00/ 8:00-16:00

Fixed-term contract of mandate for 3 months, with the possibility of extension to 6 months and further extensions. 

As a Trainee your role includes:

• Daily activities within the Purchase Invoices & Accounts Payable Process in compliance with laws, corporate policies and service-level agreements, including:
• Processing purchase invoices (with or without purchase orders) workflow till accounts payable
• Collaborating with other service teams, accounting experts and business representatives
• Service-oriented co-operation & support for suppliers, internal stakeholders (customers), auditors etc. and identifying potential process, procedure & task developments
• Participation in Purchase Invoices & Accounts Payable Process related initiatives (such as development and implementations) and projects according to one’s desires and abilities.

• Ability to work in an international team
• Mindset for performance, problem-solving and continuous development
• Enthusiasm and commitment to ongoing tasks
• Flexibility and good organization of working time
• Good written and spoken English (which is a corporate language) and Polish (which is required for purchase invoice processing).
• Good 0365 (Microsoft 365) skills and ability to learn to use different systems (our current main systems are Oracle and Basware)
