We are seeking an experienced Cloudera Solution Architect to join the project for a financial institution., , Project information:, , Type of project: IT services, Office location: Warsaw, Poland, Work mode: 100% Remote from Poland, Budget: 160-180 PLN net/ h- b2b, Project length: Long-term, Only candidates with citizenship in the European Union and residence in Poland, Start date: ASAP (depending on candidate’s availability)

Your responsibilities, Lead the design and delivery of data solutions within the Bank’s Platforms on Cloudera in AWS, Design end-to-end data lake and distributed data solutions, Contribute to solution planning, effort estimation, and identification of technical risks, dependencies, assumptions, and issues, Review and provide guidance on solution designs created by other Data Solution Architects and engineering teams, Promote and define best practices across data architecture, engineering, governance, and delivery processes, Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and the Group Data Office to refine and translate data requirements into scalable technical solutions, Present solution designs to the Bank’s Architecture Review Board when necessary, Provide support to and engage with non-factory solution architects on change initiatives, Ensure technical designs align with overall solution architecture and enterprise data strategy, Support the delivery lead to break down the solution so that it can be delivered iteratively in sprints, Support other engineering functions within the factory, including mapping, building, testing, and release, Review requirements and monitor change requests to ensure that the solution design is fit for purpose

Minimum 7 YoE in data and cloud-based projects, Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Data Architect within large-scale enterprise environments, Strong track record delivering distributed data solutions across complex, multi-vendor organizations, Deep distributed data platform knowledge, particularly on the Cloudera CDH/CDP Platform or similar technology (On-Prem and Cloud), Experience with processing large datasets, streaming data, and unstructured data sources, including Cassandra, HBase, Kafka, and Spark, Strong ETL and data pipeline experience with modern big data toolsets such as Airflow and NiFi or equivalent, Strong programming background in either Java, Python, or Scala, Good working knowledge of data architecture principles, Ability to take a lead role and take ownership of complex data deliveries, Experience with API Exposure, Integration, Streaming, Change Data Capture, Very good English skills

Optional, Financial services experience would be advantageous
