Your responsibilities

• Develop and execute BorgWarner IAM event marketing strategy aligned with global business objectives.
• Plan and manage a high-volume portfolio of events, ensuring successful delivery from concept through execution and post-event evaluation; on-site support at events occasionally required.
• Create and deliver engaging event concepts, including trade shows, roadshows, customer events, and technical training.
• Lead trade show activities, including both planning, logistics, and on-site event support.
• Coordinate event-related content and materials in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams.
• Manage external vendors and agencies, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Track event performance, identify improvement opportunities and share best practices across regions.

Our requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in event marketing or a related field (automotive aftermarket experience (IAM) is a plus.).
• Willingness to travel (approx. 30%).
• Proven experience in managing a high volume of events, trade shows, and customer engagements across multiple locations.
• Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for an experienced Event Marketing Specialist to shape and deliver impactful event experiences for BorgWarner’s Independent Aftermarket business. In this role, you will manage the full event lifecycle - from concept development and planning to execution and performance evaluation - supporting global and regional marketing objectives.
