Senior TAX Analyst (VAT) / Team Leader

Your responsibilities

• preparation of VAT for REHAU group companies in the European area
• managing a group of 5 colleagues in a VAT team
• communication with internal customers to clarify doubts and inaccuracies,
• control of recognition of economic events in terms of correctness of tax settlements,
• cooperation with other departments (PTP, OTC, RTR) in order to minimize the risk of erroneous accounting affecting tax settlements
• analysis and reconciliation of tax accounts
• support during the annual audit
• ongoing monitoring of changes in tax regulations
• contact with tax offices, participation in tax audits

Our requirements

• min. 2 -3 years of experience in accounting or tax department, esp. preparation of VAT returns
• practical knowledge of taxes (incl. income tax)
• higher education (preferred faculties: finance, economics, accounting, taxes)
• very good knowledge of English (German would be an asset)
• very good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
• welcome knowledge of SAP program
• analytical skills, good organization of work and readiness to learn
• knowledge of European tax regulations will be an added advantage
