Senior Cloud Engineer

• We are seeking a candidate with an educational background in Computer Science, Software Development or Engineering, as well as experience in some of the following areas:
• Knowledge about IT cloud infrastructure (servers, network, databases, security)
• Understanding and experience in working with major cloud computing services like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud. Should have good understanding of at least one of them.
• Being comfortable with at least basic scripting and software development
• Knowledge of Typescript, Azure DevOps and GitHub is an advantage
• Good communication skills to be able to translate business requirements from scientists into functional IT requirements
• IT security knowledge to ensure the right access and permissions at the right time
• Experience with commercial software solutions for registering and analysing histology and High-Content Screening imaging data (this is a plus but not a requirement)
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and can thrive in a fast-paced and agile work environment.
• Experience with and/or understanding agile ways of working.
• Strategic thinking to drive future-oriented decisions
• Proactive approach, excellent communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to engage with engineers, developers, architects, and scrum masters in a constructive and collaborative way.
• Agile knowledge is an advantage

Are you a skilled Senior Cloud Engineer who is passionate about working in a Scrum team working in a team that enables cloud infrastructure for data and metadata handling and microscopy image analysis. Then we are looking for an experienced professional like you to join us!

As Senior Cloud Engineer, you'll be an integral part of the product team and will work along with the Product Owner to support the team on analysis of solutions from a technical standpoint and provide support from cloud engineering aspects.
