Role Overview
The D&T Delivery Lead - Commercial is a key member of the Enterprise Delivery team within the Performance, Transformation and Delivery function at Haleon. This role plays a critical part in delivering high‑impact Commercial programmes that support business growth and enable effective, high‑quality commercial operations. It is responsible for structuring, governing, and delivering complex Commercial technology initiatives across multiple teams, platforms, and business stakeholders, ensuring programmes are delivered efficiently and in line with enterprise standards while balancing business priorities, quality, and commercial needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme Delivery & Execution: Lead end‑to‑end delivery of Commercial programmes, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards; manage complex, cross‑functional initiatives spanning multiple stakeholders and technology domains; ensure alignment to Commercial strategy, business priorities, and requirements.
- Governance & Delivery Frameworks: Establish and operate governance structures aligned to enterprise delivery frameworks; ensure clear oversight of performance, delivery status, and risks; drive structured decision‑making, escalation, and accountability across programmes.
- Risk, Issue & Compliance Management: Identify, track, and manage delivery risks and issues, ensuring mitigation and escalation; embed strong operational risk and compliance discipline across Commercial programmes; ensure adherence to quality, regulatory, and internal control requirements.
- Financial & Vendor Management: Manage programme budgets, including forecasting, cost control, and reporting; ensure effective commercial management of strategic vendors and partners; align financial tracking with delivery progress and programme outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment: Build strong relationships with Commercial leadership, D&T teams, and business stakeholders; provide clear communication and reporting to senior stakeholders; surface dependencies, trade‑offs, and risks to support informed decision‑making.
- Delivery Excellence & Capability Building: Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery methodologies, tools, and standards; promote best practices across Commercial programme delivery; support capability development and knowledge sharing across the Delivery community.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering complex Digital, Technology, or Commercial programmes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving project success.
- Experience managing changes within large, matrixed organisations with multiple stakeholders.
- Understanding of digital and technology landscapes, including commercial, customer, or business systems.
- Ability to operate in fast‑paced environments with competing priorities.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering Commercial transformation programmes.
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills, including senior leadership exposure.
- Ability to translate business and technical topics into clear language.
- Experience managing third‑party vendors and complex delivery ecosystems.
- Proficiency in using data analytics to inform decision‑making and measure project success, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
