Software Engineer (Python / Full-Stack / DevOps) (m/f/d)

Currently, we are looking for a Mid-Level or Senior Software Engineer – Python / Full-Stack / DevOps & CloudOps to build, deploy, and operate production-grade applications and cloud services.

The final seniority level will depend on your experience, technical independence, and scope of ownership.

This is a hands-on role combining backend and full-stack development with cloud and DevOps responsibilities. Mid-Level Engineers will focus on implementing features, APIs, deployments, and infrastructure changes. Senior Engineers will also influence architecture, cloud operations, security, reliability, and technical direction.

This Role Is a Strong Fit If You Have

• strong commercial experience with Python;
• experience building microservices and REST APIs;
• practical experience with Node.js and React;
• experience deploying applications with Docker and Kubernetes;
• hands-on knowledge of GitLab CI/CD or equivalent tooling;
• experience working with Azure;
• knowledge of PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or similar data platforms;
• experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code tool;
• understanding of observability, monitoring, logging, and production support;
• experience with ETL or data pipelines;
• ability to write clean, testable, maintainable, and secure code;
• confidence working independently and communicating technical decisions clearly;
• experience using AI-assisted development tools while remaining responsible for code quality, security, and correctness.

For the Senior level, we additionally expect experience designing system architecture and taking ownership of cloud reliability, networking, identity, security, scalability, observability, and infrastructure decisions.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering, Backend Engineering, Full-Stack Development, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a similar role;
• strong production experience with Python;
• experience designing and developing microservices and REST APIs;
• commercial experience with Node.js and React;
• experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based deployments;
• knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI/CD;
• practical experience with Azure;
• experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL;
• familiarity with Snowflake or an equivalent analytical data platform;
• experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tooling;
• understanding of automated testing, version control, code review, and production support;
• strong communication skills and fluent English.

For the Senior level, we typically expect 5+ years of relevant experience, including ownership of architecture, cloud operations, complex deployments, reliability, and technical decision-making.
