How you will make an impact
You will support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our finance solutions. Working closely with experienced consultants, business stakeholders, solution architects, and developers, you will help translate business needs into SAP system solutions and gradually build your expertise within FI/CO processes.
You will become part of the Finance team within Global IT. Our purpose is to develop, maintain and support digital solutions that enable Finance, Procurement, HR, and Farmer Service processes.
Your responsibilities
Support design, configuration, testing, and documentation of SAP FI modules with a focus on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR), and Asset Accounting (FI-AA)
Collaborate with business stakeholders and senior colleagues to understand financial accounting requirements and support their translation into SAP system solutions
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including asset closing, lease accounting adjustments, and bank reconciliation
Contribute to process improvements and automation within Financial Accounting, with focus on efficiency, controls, and standardization
Learn and support how SAP solutions help ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and global accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP)
Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Controlling, Procurement, Treasury, IT) to ensure integrated end-to-end processes
Provide support in incident resolution, root cause analysis, testing, and smaller system enhancements
Support SAP S/4HANA transformation activities and build knowledge in areas related to FI-AA, leasing, and banking capabilities
Our requirements
You have a strong interest in SAP FI/CO, finance processes, and digital transformation, and you are motivated by learning and developing your professional skills. You are curious by nature, structured in your approach, and able to communicate clearly with both business and IT colleagues. You take responsibility for your tasks, ask questions when needed, and contribute positively to a collaborative team culture.
You have some experience with SAP FI/CO, finance processes, ERP systems, or a relevant educational background within finance, IT, business administration, or a similar field
Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
Interest in understanding business needs and translating them into practical system support and improvements
A team player who thrives in cross-functional environments
Take ownership of your tasks, show initiative, and are eager to learn
Value feedback and actively contribute to a supportive and collaborative team culture
You are ready to travel to the extend needed to support and implement our solutions in our business units (expected maximum of 20 days a year)
Familiar with Agile ways of working is an advantage
