General Ledger Accountant with Dutch or Swedish or Norwegian or Finnish

Do you have solid experience in General Ledger accounting and enjoy working in a dynamic, international environment? We are looking for an accounting professional who will take ownership of end-to-end RTR activities and support statutory accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee General Ledger activities and ensure accurate accounting records are maintained in line with reporting deadlines.
• Prepare and review accounting postings, including accruals, provisions, corrections, and other period-end adjustments.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, monitor discrepancies, and coordinate timely resolution of outstanding issues.
• Investigate financial fluctuations and variances, providing clear explanations and actionable insights.
• Support local statutory accounting requirements and financial reporting processes for selected Nordic and European entities.
• Ensure accounting practices comply with both IFRS standards and local statutory regulations.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Partner with auditors, tax specialists, and internal business stakeholders during reporting and compliance processes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting operations and enhance process efficiency through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We Are Looking For:

• Proven background in General Ledger, RTR, or Financial Accounting roles.
• Good understanding of IFRS and/or local accounting standards.
• Experience preparing financial statements and supporting statutory reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP systems.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex accounting issues.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish will be considered a strong asset.
