About the project

We are looking for a Senior Databricks & Tableau Architect to join our team and lead the migration of Microsoft SSAS cube-based reporting to Databricks and Tableau. In this remote role, you will be responsible for redesigning the architecture and ensuring a seamless transition to modern data solutions. Your expertise in Databricks engineering and Tableau will be crucial in connecting data engineering with business intelligence requirements. Your responsibilities

• Redesigning and supporting the migration of Microsoft SSAS cube-based reporting to Databricks and Tableau
• Establishing best practices for Databricks architecture and engineering, including compute setup and data processing strategies
• Developing BI architecture, data modeling, and optimizing reporting performance in Tableau
• Translating cube-based reporting requirements into a modern data architecture that meets business needs
• Collaborating with data engineering teams to ensure alignment between engineering solutions and BI requirements
• Guiding the overall solution design to create a robust and scalable data environment

Our requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in data architecture and engineering
• Deep expertise in Databricks, including compute setup and platform best practices
• Strong command of Tableau for BI architecture, data modeling, and reporting performance
• Understanding of SSAS and experience translating cube-based reporting into modern data architectures
• Proven ability to connect data engineering with business intelligence requirements
• Advanced level of English
• Availability to start no later than mid-October is required
