Requirements

Core Implementation & Deployment

  • Lead end-to-end deployment, configuration, and hardening of PortaSwitch (PortaBilling and PortaOne VoIP Switch) environments.
  • Configure advanced routing logic, including Least Cost Routing (LCR), failover, and quality-based routing across the softswitch.
  • Design and implement Quality of Service (QoS) and Class of Service (CoS) profiles.
  • Design, implement, and maintain complex rating plans, tariffs, and billing rules within PortaBilling.
  • Manage customer accounts, service packages, and provisioning profiles within the B/OSS module.
  • Perform reconciliation and advanced diagnostics on billing discrepancies and CDR (Call Detail Record) processing failures.

Technical Integration & APIs

  • Expertly integrate external BSS/OSS or custom applications with PortaSwitch using the official API (XMLRPC and REST).
  • Demonstrate deep technical expertise in relevant telecom protocols, including SIP, Diameter (Ro/Re interfaces) , and SS7/MTP .
  • Configure and integrate new modules, including VoNR (Voice over New Radio) and specialized provisioning or fraud management features.
  • Support the integration of IMS core networks with the PortaOne B/OSS engine over the Diameter protocol.

Operational & Troubleshooting

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting for call failures, signalling errors, and media issues within the PortaSwitch environment.
  • Define and enforce security policies for API access, system users, and network connectivity.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, topology diagrams, and operational support guides.
  • Collaborate directly with clients and partners to gather technical requirements and deliver customized PortaOne solutions.
