About the project

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to join an international project and take ownership of the testing and quality management process. You will work closely with the client, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective test planning, execution, quality assurance, and release readiness.

This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who combines strong test management expertise with solid delivery management experience and a good understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure DevOps.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive QA and test strategies
• Design, coordinate, and monitor the software development and testing lifecycle
• Define and monitor quality gates, quality KPIs, and testing standards
• Ensure compliance with agreed QA processes and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Ensure traceability and consistency between requirements, test activities, deliverables, and configuration management items
• Coordinate release management activities, including release scoping, readiness validation, sign-off, and communication
• Drive issue identification, resolution, ownership, and follow-up across project teams
• Conduct peer reviews of QA-related activities and deliverables
• Perform project quality audits and monitor overall quality throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Manage stakeholder expectations, resources, dependencies, and potentially conflicting priorities
• Lead diverse and geographically distributed testing and project teams
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Act as a key point of contact for testing and quality-related topics throughout the project
• Monitor project progress against agreed timelines and quality objectives
• Respond effectively to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure testing activities are delivered to agreed quality standards and deadlines

Our requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in delivery management, test management, or a closely related area
• Proven experience as a Test Manager / QA Manager in complex software delivery projects
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Extensive experience working with Agile methodologies and good understanding of Waterfall delivery
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
• Experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Strong understanding of software testing and quality assurance processes
• Experience developing and implementing QA strategies, quality gates, and quality KPIs
• Experience with release management and production readiness activities
• Proven experience managing issues, risks, dependencies, and competing priorities
• Experience leading testing or delivery teams, including geographically distributed teams
• Proven experience working directly with international clients and stakeholders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them through to completion under tight deadlines
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Client-oriented mindset and strong stakeholder management skills

Optional

• Experience leading large-scale, multi-platform testing programmes from strategy through execution
• Experience in a consulting or professional services environment
• Knowledge of common project and delivery management frameworks, including PMI/PMBOK and Agile project management
• Experience with project quality audits and formal QA governance
• Experience working with complex enterprise applications and transformation programmes
• Experience coordinating testing and release activities across multiple teams and workstreams
