We’re looking for a Backend Engineer passionate about building innovative solutions using cutting-edge technologies.

Your responsibilities

• Work as part of a core cross-functional team to develop next-generation core banking technology.
• Deliver and enhance an innovative banking platform product.
• Support and mentor junior engineers, acting as a subject matter expert.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code that’s easy to maintain and extend.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape the direction of platform engineering and ensure customer needs remain central to key decisions.
• Uphold standards, follow best practices, and promote innovation across the backend chapter.
• Resolve complex technical issues through team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Note: Full project details will be provided during the recruitment process.

Our requirements

• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Java software development.
• Proven experience with Spring Boot or Micronaut.
• Understanding of Kubernetes and Docker.
• Excellent knowledge of AWS (deployment and configuration).Experience with message-driven architectures (Kafka, event sourcing).
• Success delivering in an agile environment.
• Experience working in a highly secure application environment.
• Ability to act as a subject matter expert and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understanding how to translate business objectives into data-driven insights.
