Your responsibilities

  • Safeguard and properly store US and Poland controlled information based on US and Poland security regulations as well as corporate directives and policies and ensure compliance with Polish government requirements for classified operations.
  • Maintain access control to closed and restricted areas, including oversight of security suppliers, installers, technicians.
  • Manage the security administration to include processing forms, maintaining records, coordinating requests for office and/or base passes required for site visits.
  • Manage security and personal safety procedures and briefing/training for all assigned personnel, their family members, and visitors.
  • Conduct security investigations and surveys, including detailed recommendations for mitigation of all security vulnerabilities and violations.
  • Participate in the development of crisis and business continuity plans with Business Resilience and Crisis Management (BRCM) representatives, acting as a member of Country Incident Support Team (CIST), and conducting periodic updates to and testing of evacuation/contingency plans.
  • Build and maintain a strong liaison with local law enforcement, military, and government security agencies.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with all in-country personnel and provide ongoing security advice and guidance. Drive cultural security awareness and collaboration for individual responsibility and awareness.
  • Be a part of the FCP Visitor Access Program, coordinating security with office management staff for office visits by foreign persons, including entry/exit, guest identification and verification, awareness briefs, and pre-visit walk-throughs.
  • Management of Personnel Security Clearance(s) (PSC) for LN employees.
  • Travel is expected to be approximately 25% or less within Poland.

Our requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience
  • Language Requirement – Full professional proficiency in English and Polish.
  • Valid Polish Driver’s License and polish citizenship.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Polish government certified clearance issued by the Internal Security Agency (ABW) (company sponsored).
  • Must have or be able to receive a certificate of training on classified information protection to be issued by the Internal Security Agency (ABW) or Military Counterintelligence Agency (SKW) (company sponsored).
  • Must have or be able to obtain a certificate of training from ABW/SKW (company sponsored).
  • Experience with Polish security apparatus and/or government or military.

Optional

  • Preferred Background – HN Military and/or Law Enforcement experience, e.g. ABW, SKW, ZW, etc.
  • Experience or participation with security professional peer organizations such as Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) or ASIS, International
  • Education preference – Master’s degree.
  • Corporate Security experience.
  • International Security experience, preferably in Europe.
  • Crisis Management and Emergency Planning experience.
  • Knowledge of Defense Industry environment and business objectives.
  • Experience with Polish Classified and Import/Export/Trade programs and requirements.
  • Project Management and Oversight.
  • Experience in managing international industrial security programs.
  • Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with electronic access control systems.
  • Experience in handling and safeguarding classified information in an international environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in establishing and maintaining security programs and processes in accordance with Polish national security standards – Highly desirable and will be a differentiating factor in our selection decision.
  • Experience with quality and process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience interfacing with Polish security agencies.
  • Experience in Executive Protection.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

This Warsaw based Country Security Manager (CSM) position, known as the Polska Security Manager, will support the Raytheon Global Security Services (GSS) Operations & Investigations.

You will be responsible for the daily protection of people, information/technology, and facilities in Polska and other RTX and Raytheon equities in Poland. The position is responsible for the research, application, and policy compliance necessary to obtain a Facility Security Clearance (FCL) from the Polish government. Successful execution of self and Polish government compliance assessments is required. The position will oversee the RTX Visitor Access Program under the Polska Facility Control Plan (FCP) and will work with and through the Polska Office Management staff to coordinate, manage and oversee non-RTX and non-Polska, and foreign persons visiting the Polska site(s).

You will cultivate and maintain effective partnerships with senior peers from Polska, Program Management Offices, Finance, Contracts, Operations & Supply Chain, Quality, Digital Technology, Global Trade, and Engineering and local suppliers to meet business objectives as you champion regulatory compliance with contractually required security regulations through effective training and influence. You advise leadership and staff on multiple efficient options within the security policy space, leading to successful outcomes. As a self-motivated leader you will make independent decisions, research and provide security explanations of documentation, instructions, guides, and other directives while directly supporting business objectives of the Polska and GSS International Security leadership teams, including the GSS Regional Security Manager.

Daily tasks include sustaining the security alarm and access control systems, design and issue of security credentials, collecting, distributing, and assessing security metrics, infraction & violation trends, and providing collaborative support to business resilience plans and incident support teams.

The position functions within a high-profile and fast-paced environment with ad-hoc security requirements requiring a dynamic and adaptive professional with experience across a broad-range of security disciplines, including but not limited to military (MIL) and law enforcement (LE) and special security services (SSS) equities, international security operations, counterintelligence and force protection practices.
