The Mission West Code is supporting the build of a new greenfield international gaming platform. We are looking for a Senior / Principal DevOps Engineer to strengthen the PAM / Core Platform area and help shape the AWS platform used by multiple engineering teams. This is not a ticket-driven infrastructure role. We need someone who can take ownership of platform decisions, production reliability, developer enablement and the operational foundations of a high-volume transactional system. What You’ll Own AWS platform architecture and production readiness Kubernetes / EKS environments and workload platform Infrastructure as Code with Terraform CI/CD and GitOps-based deployment workflows environment and account separation across development, test and production scaling, capacity, resilience and cost-aware infrastructure decisions observability, alerting and incident-readiness secrets, IAM, access control and platform security guardrails developer self-service and platform automation disaster recovery, backup and operational continuity patterns Must Have strong hands-on AWS experience in production environments deep Kubernetes / EKS knowledge Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code expertise CI/CD and GitOps experience (for example Argo CD or similar) strong understanding of networking, IAM, secrets and cloud security production monitoring and observability experience experience designing or operating highly available distributed systems ability to troubleshoot complex production incidents strong ownership and ability to work directly with senior engineers and architects good English Strong Advantage high-volume fintech, payments, gaming, adtech or other data-intensive platforms Kafka / MSK and event-driven systems Karpenter, HPA/VPA and workload autoscaling Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK / OpenSearch or similar Cilium or advanced Kubernetes networking Vault, AWS Secrets Manager or External Secrets multi-account AWS environments experience defining platform standards used by multiple engineering teams SRE practices, SLI/SLO design and incident management Engineering Environment AWS · EKS / Kubernetes · Terraform · GitOps · Argo CD · Kafka / MSK · Docker · OpenTelemetry · Prometheus / Grafana · CI/CD Working Model B2B cooperation remote work from Poland initial workshops in Kraków and follow-up onsite sessions approximately once per quarter international engineering environment with English used on the project role shared across the platform rather than limited to a single product team Why West Code At West Code, we build engineering teams around ownership and strong technical delivery.
