Your responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of technical and commercial advisory assignments for energy sector clients, ensuring high-quality outcomes and trusted client relationships.
- Manage technical due diligence, feasibility studies, market assessments, investment appraisals, and lender or investor support services for energy infrastructure projects.
- Advise developers, investors, lenders, and public sector organisations on project risks, opportunities, regulatory requirements, and energy transition strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Arup's global network to develop innovative and practical solutions for complex client challenges.
- Support business development activities by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, contributing to client engagement, and expanding Arup's presence within the Polish energy market.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the continued growth and development of the local Energy Advisory team.
Our requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Energy, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, with significant experience in energy consulting, project development, technical advisory, or infrastructure investment.
- +5 years of experience delivering advisory services for energy sector projects, including renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS), transmission and distribution, hydrogen, or other energy transition technologies.
- Strong understanding of project finance, technical due diligence, investment appraisal, and energy market dynamics.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and client-facing skills, with experience presenting complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluency in English and Polish, with the ability to work effectively in international and multidisciplinary environments.

The Opportunity
This is your chance to play a leading role in delivering strategic and technical advisory services for some of the most significant energy investments in Poland and across Europe.
You will work directly with investors, developers, financial institutions, and infrastructure owners, helping them understand risks, identify opportunities, and make confident investment decisions. The role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects spanning renewable energy, battery storage, hydrogen, power networks, and broader energy transition initiatives.
You'll have the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary project teams, develop client relationships, drive business growth, and contribute to the expansion of Arup's Energy Advisory offering in Poland.
