Compliance Manager (f/m) - new position in Poland

For our client (manufacturing division), we are looking for a Compliance Manager who will take full ownership of the compliance function. The organisation is expanding this area, and the role is designed as a standalone position combining operational responsibilities, advisory support and project coordination. It offers strong business exposure and close collaboration with key stakeholders in Poland and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the compliance framework – designing, implementing and enhancing the organisation’s compliance structure.
• Risk identification and assessment – evaluating regulatory, operational and reputational risks and recommending mitigation actions.
• Developing and updating policies – creating procedures, standards and internal guidelines.
• Monitoring compliance – conducting reviews, internal controls and audits.
• Advising business teams – providing regulatory interpretations and operational guidance.
• Training and awareness – building compliance culture across the organisation.
• Incident management – analysing reports, conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions.
• Regulator liaison – preparing documentation, responses and reports.
• Compliance project coordination – implementing new regulations and internal initiatives.
• Working with external consultants – overseeing advisory projects delivered by external firms.
• Reporting to senior leadership – preparing analyses, recommendations and regular updates.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in compliance, audit or risk management (general compliance only).
• Ability to operate independently and take ownership of the compliance area.
• Fluent command of English.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
