Technical Requirements & QualificationsExperience: Tier II level (4 to 8 years of professional software development experience).Primary Languages: Strong proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript and Python.Polyglot & Full-Stack Capabilities: Broad knowledge of Java / J2EE full-stack engineering. Ability and willingness to work across diverse technologies, including Rust and Kotlin.Scripting & Tooling: Strong familiarity with Bash scripting and comprehensive experience managing source code using Git repositories and advanced Git operations.Adaptability: A flexible mindset with a proven ability to learn new languages, frameworks, and workflows quickly.Collaboration & Soft SkillsStrong communication skills to participate in regular sync meetings with the Google Dataform team to align on scope, implementation strategies, and feature designs.Ability to work effectively within hybrid workflows (contributing to internal repositories while managing external releases to GitHub).Self-motivated and capable of maintaining a strict Service Level Objective (SLO), targeting a 90% bug triage resolution rate. We are seeking a versatile and highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team in Poland. In this role, you will focus on improving the feature set, performance, and supportability of the Dataform service by implementing features, resolving bugs, and writing robust tests in both internal repositories and the open-source Dataform ecosystem.You will collaborate closely with engineers to triage issues, manage pull requests, and expand the capabilities of a modern data modeling and transformation framework.
