About the project

We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join a project focused on using data and machine learning to build better payment solutions.

You’ll work with bank account data and build ML solutions that support payment success and prevention. You’ll own the full lifecycle of models - from problem discovery and feature engineering to prototyping, validation, production, A/B testing and monitoring.

Your responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery of ML models, from initial discovery to production
• Analyse data and perform feature engineering
• Build, validate and deploy ML models
• Run A/B tests and continuously monitor models in production
• Work on ML solutions for payments and fraud prevention
• Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers and Designers
• Translate complex ML concepts into practical product solutions
• Help shape the technical direction and roadmap of ML solutions
• Research and apply the latest developments in ML and fraud prevention
• Write clean, high-quality, production-ready code
• Share knowledge and contribute to the technical development of the team

Our requirements

• Experience as a Data Scientist (6 years minimum)
• Strong skills in Python, SQL, BigQuery, GCP and Vertex AI
• Hands-on experience delivering ML models end-to-end
• Experience with feature engineering, model validation, A/B testing and production monitoring
• Experience with advanced ML architectures (such as deep learning, graph-based or sequence-based models)
• Experience working closely with Product teams
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to explain ML concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent in Polish and English

Optional

• Experience in Fintech, Payments or Fraud Prevention
• Experience working with bank account data
