You will work closely withproduct stakeholders, platform engineers, andfrontend teams todesign andimplement reliable, high-performance backend services that integrate multiple enterprise systems.

Your Daily Missions

• Lead thedesign anddevelopment of backend services foracore platform rewrite.
• Design scalable services responsible for transactions, balances, statements, andreporting data .
• Define API contracts andintegration patterns betweenbackend services, frontend applications, andexternal enterprise systems.
• Make key decisions around data modeling, search/indexing strategies, andperformance optimization for million-row datasets withcomplex filtering, sorting, andpagination .
• Support frontend teams byensuring API-first design andsmooth integration withReact applications .
• Ensure engineering quality through code reviews, architecture discussions, andmentoring other developers .
• Collaborate closely withproduct, frontend, andplatform teams todeliver robust, production-ready systems .

The Essentials We’re Seeking

• 7+ years ofexperience inbackend orfullstack software development.
• Strong expertise in Java andSpring Boot , including designing modular backend services andREST APIs.
• Experience acting as a Tech Lead ortechnical owner responsible forarchitectural decisions.
• Solid experience designing scalable APIs anddistributed systems .
• Strong understanding of data modeling inrelational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) anddesigning efficient query patterns.
• Practical experience with Elasticsearch (orsimilar search/indexing technologies) forfiltering, search, andaggregation overlarge datasets.
• Experience working with external system integrations , including REST orGraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) andmodern CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of security patterns inenterprise systems (OAuth2, OIDC, authentication andauthorization flows).
• Working knowledge ofReact andTypeScript , enabling effective collaboration withfrontend teams.
• Proven ability to break down complex architectural changes intomanageable development phases .
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, orsimilar agentic coding tools) andopenness to experimenting withAI-driven approaches to improve development efficiency andengineering workflows .
• Ability tocombine hands-on engineering withtechnical leadership andmentoring .
• Experience in FinTech, banking, orenterprise integration platforms .
• Experience with large-scale transactional orreporting systems .
• Experience with GraphQL integrations .
• Experience with data migration orlegacy system modernization .
• Familiarity with observability practices (logging, metrics, tracing).
• Understanding of database partitioning andquery optimization patterns .
