Quality Assurance Consultant

INTRODUCTION & SUMMARY: The role of the Quality Assurance Consultant involves designing, developing, and executing both manual and automated tests, with a commitment to ensuring software quality and optimizing testing processes across various environments. The ideal candidate will be proficient in test automation frameworks and have a solid foundational understanding of software testing principles. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: The Quality Assurance Consultant will: Analyze system requirements and design test automation strategies.Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and load testing.Implement test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright, or JUnit/TestNG.Run manual and automated tests across different environments and report results.Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for automatic validation during deployments.Detect and report defects found during manual and automated test execution.Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve system issues.Evaluate new tools and techniques to enhance test automation.Ensure automated tests are consistent with software quality standards. KEY REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated experience in software testing and quality assurance.Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Familiarity with CI/CD concepts. NICE TO HAVE: Experience with performance testing tools.Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
