Your responsibilities

You will take ownership of the route-to-market of the assets under our management, working on projects with a real impact on the energy market. You will represent Ergy and our clients in negotiations with energy traders, optimisers and corporate offtakers, coordinating internal and external parties throughout the process. You will then supervise the contracts you have negotiated over their entire lifetime, working closely with our asset management, technical and finance colleagues. You will build an expert understanding of the RES and energy trading market in Poland.

Main responsibilities

• Playing a leading role in the commercialisation of the largest renewable energy portfolios in Poland

• Structuring and negotiating route-to-market arrangements for PV and wind assets, including PPAs, balancing and imbalance arrangements, floor and revenue-share structures

• Structuring and negotiating optimisation and tolling agreements for battery storage assets

• Ongoing supervision of the contract portfolio: settlement verification, counterparty performance, contractual obligations, reporting to owners, lenders and co-investors

• Coordinating the preparation of commercial materials supporting offtake processes, such as tender documentation, offer comparisons and revenue analyses

• Overall management of offtake processes, including coordination of and cooperation with legal, technical and commercial experts on both sides

• Managing relationships with energy traders, optimisers and corporate offtakers, and leading client calls and business development initiatives

Our requirements

We are seeking candidates, who:

• Have minimum 3 years of professional experience in energy trading, offtake, origination, energy consulting and/or renewable asset management

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably related to management, finance, economics, energy or engineering

• Have a working knowledge of the Polish power market, including TGE day-ahead and intraday markets, balancing market settlement following the market reform, and the OZE auction system

• Have experience in negotiating and managing commercial energy contracts, including EFET and/or ISDA-based documentation

• Plan their work efficiently and wish to work on some of the most ambitious renewable energy projects in Poland

• Are fluent in Polish and English, both written and spoken (minimum requirement of C1 level)

• Are willing to work mostly in-office in the city center

Optional

• Financial modelling skills (Excel, ideally Python) applied to revenue, settlement or price scenario analysis
