Your responsibilities

• As a Project Leader in Aftersales Engineering, you will process and evaluate technical topics for the MAN Genuine Accessories, MAN Genuine Parts ecoline and LINE360 projects
• You will be responsible for application engineering and adaptation development activities to ensure the technical compatibility of accessories, optional equipment and spare parts with the complete vehicle
• You will plan and coordinate technical validation activities, evaluate the results and contribute to complete the vehicle approval processes
• In close collaboration with Homologation and technical services, you will ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and safety-related requirements
• Furthermore, you will create and maintain technical documentation, including assembly and installation instructions, technical specifications and product documentation
• You will provide technical advice to internal departments, service organizations, body manufacturers and external partners on vehicle-, product- and equipment-specific topics
• You will contribute to cross-functional projects and actively support the development of innovative Aftersales concepts
• In addition, you will take ownership of the definition, implementation and continuous improvement of end-to-end processes within the Aftersales environment
• You will present technical results to interdisciplinary teams and support the preparation of presentations and decision-making documents and standards
• Finally, you will work in close collaboration with the Individual Project Management office in Munich

Our requirements

• BSc or MSc in engineering (e.g. mechanical engineering, automation, electrical engineering, management, mechatronics, production)
• Fluent English language skills; German language skills are considered an advantage
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical vehicle components, combined with a hands-on approach to implementation
• Experience in application engineering, adaptation development or the technical integration of accessories, optional equipment and spare parts
• Experience in the commercial vehicle industry, including an understanding of customer requirements and international markets, is an advantage
• Knowledge of planning and conducting technical validation activities as well as evaluating technical results
• Good knowledge of regulatory and safety-related requirements in the automotive environment, such as UNECE regulations and ISO standards
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of internal systems such as PDM Windchill, OAS, CATIA V5, TEVIS or COMVIS is an advantage
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication and coordination skills within interdisciplinary and international teams
• Experience in intercultural collaboration or willingness to develop such experience
• High level of initiative, accountability and reliability
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly and effectively to different target groups
• Strong team orientation and willingness to collaborate across departments and functions
• Confident and professional approach when working with internal departments, service organizations and external partners
• Openness to new topics and motivation to actively contribute to innovative Aftersales concepts
