Your responsibilities

• Construction of internal and external block walls
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Setting out and maintaining line, level and plumb
• Working to programme deadlines while maintaining quality standards
• Coordinating with site management and other trades
• Adhering to all Health and Safety requirements
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship at all times

Our requirements

• Preferably 3 years' experience as a Brick Layer on residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects.
• Proven experience in all aspects of blockwork and masonry construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on workmanship and project delivery.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and Construction Regulations.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.

MMD Construction is seeking an experienced Blocklayer to carry out blockwork and masonry works on site in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and Irish construction standards. The successful candidate will carry out all aspects of blockwork and masonry construction on large-scale construction projects while ensuring the highest standards of workmanship, safety and quality.
