Your responsibilities
- Analyze customer, project, and stakeholder requirements.
- Design system solutions by reusing existing solutions or developing and adapting new concepts when required .
- Design Railway Control Systems.
- Perform conceptual design activities, including system modelling, design studies, design rationale development, real-time analysis, modelling, and mock-ups to support technical risk mitigation and optimization.
- Develop formal models and system requirements in accordance with applicable standards and design guidelines.
- Create and maintain system documentation, including operational, functional, and technical specifications (OCD, RS, AD, ID, PD).
- Ensure full traceability of requirements throughout the project documentation lifecycle.
- Participate in technical and document reviews.
- Collaborate with end users, technical experts, and project stakeholders.Work closely with System Architecture, RAM, Safety, Software, Product Engineering, and Verification & Validation teams to develop system concepts and definitions.
What we’re looking for
- University degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering, including System Architecture and System Interfaces.
- Knowledge of Railway Signalling Systems; experience or familiarity with ETCS will be considered a strong asset.
- Understanding of safety-oriented design principles and RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) requirements.
- Experience in requirements management and specification writing.Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.Good command of English, enabling effective communication in an international environment.
