The primary purpose of hiring an Ad Operations Specialist is to ensure the efficient and effective management of advertising campaigns. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and performance of ad accounts, integrating new vendors, and managing ad systems and generate platform pixels.
This role is crucial for streamlining processes related to ad account governance and hygiene, reducing errors, and enhancing campaign performance. Additionally, the role facilitates seamless vendor integration, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance within the advertising ecosystem. The roles’ technical proficiency in handling ad systems, including pixel generation, is vital for running any advertising activity so as accurate tracking and measurement of campaign success, making them an indispensable asset to any advertising team.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities
Ad Account governance & hygiene:
- Ad account creation on platforms like META, Google, TikTok etc.
- User management
- Resolving issues
- Collaboration with platforms representatives
Advertising platforms knowledge, as an example:
- Google Ads, DV360, Campaign Manager (CM360)
- Meta Business Manager, Amazon Ads, etc.
- DSPs (e.g.The Trade Desk)
- Ad verification eg. Double Verify
- Tag Management
- Understanding of ad tags
- Troubleshooting & QA
- Ability to identify and resolve ad delivery issues
- Mandatory skills:
- Advertising platforms knowledge (you do not need to know all of them, we will teach you)
- Attention to detail
- Eager to learn fast
- Proficient in English
