As a technical writer, your role involves tasks such as writing conceptual overviews and procedures, reading and writing example code, or updating help center queries and FAQs. Your responsibilities, Write technical documentation for developers including concept docs, how-to guides, and API reference documents., Design and organize documentation sets for new features., Work with a global team of engineers, product teams, content strategists, User Experience (UX) researchers and other technical writers to identify the critical user journeys and create information architectures that help customers through those journeys., Edit, clarify, and proofread documents written by others, and coach non-writers on ways to improve their writing skills., Manage complex documentation projects, and take responsibility for the quality of the documentation.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience., 4 years of experience creating content for technical audiences (e.g., developer documentation, Computer Science course material, or IT administration playbooks)., Experience writing for the web, and with Markdown, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.

Optional, Experience with virtual machines and other Cloud technologies., Experience producing technical documentation for a technical audience., Ability to navigate ambiguity, support multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment., Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
