The role is accountable for: analysing and documenting source systems’ data as needed to meet the business requirements; determining the method and frequency for ingesting the data into the data warehouse; defining and documenting any data mapping, harmonisation, derivations, calculations, or other transformations required to make the data easy to use by the business; ensuring that the target data model is coherent and works in conjunction with the other data models in the data warehouse.
