Your responsibilities

Shop Drawing Production

• Prepare detailed 2D shop drawings using AutoCAD.

• Produce plans, elevations, sections, construction details and installation drawings.

• Model custom cabinetry, wall panelling, closets, kitchens, vanities, stair components and other architectural millwork.

• Prepare detailed cut sections, joinery details and assembly information.

Drawing Coordination

• Interpret architectural drawings, interior design drawings and project specifications.

• Coordinate dimensions, materials and interfaces with other trades.

• Ensure all drawings comply with company drafting standards.

• Revise drawings following internal reviews and client comments.

Manufacturing Support

• Produce fabrication-ready drawings for production.

• Incorporate hardware, lighting, accessories and specialty components.

• Clarify technical details when requested by production or installation teams.

• Participate in resolving technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality

• Verify dimensions and drawing accuracy.

• Ensure consistency throughout drawing packages.

• Maintain exceptional drafting quality and attention to detail.

• Meet project deadlines while maintaining company quality standards.

Our requirements

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Cabinetmaking, Architecture, Interior Design or a related technical field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience preparing AutoCAD shop drawings.

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.

• Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.

• Experience preparing detailed fabrication drawings.

• Strong understanding of millwork construction methods.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

• Good written and spoken English.

Your Role

As an AutoCAD 2D Draftsperson, you will transform design concepts into highly detailed shop drawings used by our production team to manufacture custom architectural millwork.

Working remotely as part of our technical team, you will collaborate with Project Managers, Technical Designers, and Production to ensure every drawing is accurate, complete, and ready for fabrication.

Your work will directly contribute to the successful execution of some of North America's most prestigious residential projects.
