As a Development Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and availability of Kuehne+Nagel’s IT infrastructure. Your focus will be on delivering robust services for continuous integration and delivery, supporting cross-functional teams of developers, testers, and business analysts.

By maintaining and evolving infrastructure solutions, you will play a key role in supporting our global logistics operations and driving digital transformation through modern technologies and automation.

How you create impact

• Handle technical requests and provide expert support for AWS-based Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines,
• Monitor and maintain build pipeline infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance,
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations,
• Take ownership of building and testing pipelines for both development and production deployments, 
• Collaborate closely with IT colleagues, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to ensure smooth integration and operation of infrastructure components,
• Contribute to automation initiatives and support the deployment of modern technologies aligned with our digital transformation strategy.

What we would like you to bring

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field,
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations, including server administration and network management,
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and environments, especially Jenkins, Gitlab, ArgoCD and AWS-based solutions,
• Familiarity with AWS Aurora/Postgres and Kubernetes; Proficiency in automation and operations management tools,
• Excellent troubleshooting and technical support capabilities,
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with emerging trends in IT and logistics,
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
