Profit Analyst

Job Purpose: Responsible for the delivery and implementation of Business Intelligence strategy across multiple disciplines, utilising insight from internal and external commercial intelligence analysis to drive strategic activities in order to maximise profitable share growth for TD SYNNEX.

Responsibilities

  • Execute tactical actions in line with Commercial Operations or Business Intelligence Strategy.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders to maximise share growth opportunities in vendors and customers, for example:
    • Execution of TD SYNNEX Box Model.
    • Preparation and delivery of tactical activities to support share of wallet growth in customers.
  • Creation of financial and operational dashboards.
  • Monitor market developments, spot trends early and develop strategies to exploit identified opportunities.
  • Subject matter expert for SAP CRM, SAP Business Warehouse (reporting) and Business Intelligence matters.
  • Deliver training to new and existing users via multiple channels, in areas of subject matter expertise.
  • Maintain integrity of customer intelligence and master data.
  • Collate Intelligence and Financial data to propose and set sales and performance targets across the organisation.
  • Action any ad‑hoc Commercial Operations or BI requests, and support projects/activities as appropriate.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build effective relationships.
  • Ability to convert complex information into executable strategy.
  • Self‑motivated.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required.
    • VBA (Visual Basic) skills – ability to create macros and automate processes in Excel.
    • Competent use of external data sources, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, MATCH and INDEX functions.
    • Access Database (or similar, SQL etc) creation and development an advantage.
  • Experience with SAP R/3, SAP Business Explorer (Business Warehouse), SAP Analyzer for Office etc, advantageous, but not essential.
