Key Responsibilities
- Prepare large steel and metal components for painting (cleaning, degreasing, sanding)
- Prepare surfaces for painting (priming, filling) considering anti-corrosion protection
- Mask and secure areas not intended for painting
- Paint using the airless method
- Apply 2K acrylic paints and industrial protective coatings
- Perform multi-layer painting (primer, intermediate, and top coat)
- Paint components for amusement attractions and roller coasters
- Process complex-shaped elements and hard-to-reach areas
- Control coating thickness and drying times according to guidelines
- Inspect quality and remove painting defects (e.g., runs, orange peel, inclusions)
- Finish surfaces, including polishing
- Prepare and mix painting materials according to manufacturer instructions
- Document completed work and inspection results
- Transport and set elements in the painting booth
- Collaborate with the welding and production departments
- Clean and maintain airless painting equipment
- Address minor equipment issues
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and environmental protection
- Maintain cleanliness and safety at the workplace
- Assist with simple production tasks
Requirements
- Proficiency in German (minimum communicative level)
- Professional experience
- Experience in airless painting
