Fullstack Developer (Python+React)

About the project, We are seeking a Fullstack Developer (Python + React) to join a UK-based client team building and enhancing a Group reporting capability for Solvency II. The person in this role will work across front-end and back-end development, contributing to secure, enterprise-grade user interfaces and application logic that support Pillar 1 and Pillar 3 reporting, deployment of CCH Tagetik and Databricks, and internal Group SUK reporting packs.

Your responsibilities, Develop and maintain front-end components using React and TypeScript, with strong attention to HTML/CSS and responsive UI patterns., Implement back-end services and APIs using Python and FastAPI, ensuring performance, reliability and security., Work with Databricks Apps where applicable to deliver the app layer and integrate with analytics and processing pipelines., Design and implement authentication and authorization solutions: OAuth 2.0, SSO, service-principal and user auth flows, and role-based access control for enterprise UIs., Collaborate on configuring and deploying CCH Tagetik and Databricks to support Pillar 1 and Pillar 3 reporting capabilities., Contribute to implementation of Pillar 1 calculations and reporting processes, and end-to-end Pillar 3 reporting and disclosure processes., Support the build of calculations, models, mappings and rules, and help produce MI, BI and reporting outputs., Participate in detailed solution and technical design, environment and platform setup, data model and ingestion activities., Build UI workflows, system-enabled controls, and support SIT, regression testing, UAT and E2E testing., Work closely with cross-functional team members to ensure implementations meet business requirements and compliance needs.

Proven experience with React and TypeScript for front-end development; familiar with component libraries such as Material UI is desirable., Strong backend development experience with Python and FastAPI., Experience integrating with Databricks Apps is preferable, particularly for app-layer work tied to analytics pipelines., Practical experience implementing OAuth 2.0, SSO, service-principal authentication patterns and RBAC or similar access-control models in enterprise contexts., Comfortable working with data models, ingestion patterns and collaborating on calculation/model builds for regulatory reporting., Experience supporting testing cycles (SIT, regression, UAT/E2E) and delivering production-ready features.
