About the role
We are looking for a GL Accountant to join our client – a global technology conglomerate operating across the legal, accounting, and financial services industries. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic, international environment where finance meets innovative technology.
Key responsibilities
Managing and maintaining general ledger accounts in accordance with accounting standards
Performing period-end closing activities (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
Preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
Supporting financial reporting processes and audits
Analyzing balance sheet and P&L fluctuations
Collaborating with internal stakeholders (e.g. finance teams, business units)
Working with ERP systems and contributing to process improvements
Requirements
Experience in General Ledger / RTR accounting
Good understanding of accounting principles (IFRS or local GAAP)
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Very good command of English (min. B2/C1)
Good analytical skills and attention to detail
